Haitian Flag Day
The Haitian History has allways be wraped arround tree solid colums Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood. Taking a closer look at these achievements of this newlly formed nation (at the time) certain thing deserve a more serious conciderations: the place and role of female in our society. Catherine Flon was the goddaughter of Jean Jacques Dessalines and played a huge role in the Haitian Revolution as a nurse. She is not really remembered and revered as nurse, but widely recognized in all Haiti as a heroine for sewing the first Haitian Flag in Archaie and a national symbol of freedom. On May 1803, Dessalines created the first Haitian Flag by ripping apart the French one (blue, white and red), threw the white portion away, and have Catherine Flon stitched together the remaining parts horizontally to create the first version of the Haitian Flag. Today Catherine Flon is celebrated in Haiti on May 18, which is also the Haitian Flag's Day. Her picture is featured on a 10 Gourdes Haitian Banknote issued in 2000.
female equal rights was already in effect and application in Haiti, The USA would only start this same task until 1923

House owner’s tips
You are about to move into your new house or you have already moved in, in both cases your interests are similar if not identical. You want the grass to grow fast, the furniture well placed and friendly neighbours. Most of us are looking for a bit more than that however these are always part of the list.
The way that the economy is going things are getting harder and harder every day, and here are some tips which you may use to increase your quality of life. These are the things that you will need in order to accomplish your goal.
1- A little ground space in your backyard at least ½ meter square (preferably in direct contact to sunlight)
2- A plant waterer or similar device that can perform this task.
3- Make some seed selections(I’ll provide some suggestions)
4- Finally you are going to need some will power and dedication.
You can start growing small size vegetable as well as the little seasoning ingredient that we use on a daily basic such: as sweet pepper, carrot, hot peper, scallion, thime. These could grow right in your backyard. For those who lived in apartment I’ll make a post on a complete project on how you can gow your vegetable inside your apartment. Day of the Dead
"It's like New Year's Day for the dead." That's how Sherly Turenne sums up the celebration for Ghede spirits, led by Baron Samedi, god of death in Haiti's Vodun tradition. He is anticipated with happiness as the protector of children, provider of wise advice and the last best hope for the seriously ill. Celebrated on Nov. 2, along with the Catholic All Souls' Day, Ghede (GEH-day) is also a day to remember and honor ancestors.
With a population of 10.5 million, Haiti is 35 percent Catholic and 60 percent Voodoo (VOH-doon), a religion that accommodated the practices and principles of captives from Dahomey, Yorubaland, Congo and Angola who were brought to the island during the African slave trade.

false prophets
Religious broadcaster Harold Camping says he and his Family Radio network are embarrassed that the world didn't end on Oct. 21 as he predicted.
Link to Associated Press News report: http://bit.ly/rxgFeQ
In a message posted on his network's website, the 90-year-old Camping says, "When it comes to trying to recognize the truth of prophecy, we're finding that it is very, very difficult."
Camping also apologizes for saying last May that people who didn't believe his prophecy that Christians would be taken up to heaven in the rapture on May 21 probably were not saved.
Camping says, "We're ready to cry out and weep before God: `Oh Lord, you have the truth, we don't have it."'
Some listeners who believed Camping sold their belongings to help pay for thousands of billboards to spread his doomsday message.
wedding
They tied the knot just two months ago, but speculation is already running rampant that the marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is on the rocks -- and although Kim admits there's been tension, she seems to think what they're experiencing is only natural given the circumstances.
"It's not been ideal because you're newlyweds and you want privacy," Kim told People while celebrating her 31st birthday in Las Vegas with her family and hubby. Alone time is something the couple's packed schedule has hardly allowed for since their wedding. Living in a New York hotel suite while filming "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," the newlyweds shared the intimate space with Kourtney, her boyfriend and their 22-month-old son Mason. Sharing a hotel room with family, including a toddler, is hardly an "ideal" honeymoon for anyone, even a family as close-knit as the Kardashians.
